My role as a photographer, as a conduit, is to simply be the hand that holds a mirror up to the world and allows the world to gaze back at itself.

About

My interest in photography and trains began at a very young age. I turned this love of trains into a career in 1989, starting as a hostler and eventually becoming an engineer with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. I combined my passions for locomotives and photography and became a frequent feature in BNSF calendars and exhibitions. I’ve also been featured in other publications.

My interests expanded into nature and landscape photography, from the stunning vistas of the American southwest to venturing out on a guided polar bear expedition in Manitoba. I’m a husband, father, and grandfather, preferring to spend my free time with my family, watching movies, and planning my next travel adventure.
